Ramblings
The RAMBLINGS mailing list is a is an email discussion group hosted by
this site as a service to the actuarial profession. Its aim is to create
a global forum for the discussion of topics of actuarial interest from
annuities to zillmerisation. The discussion group should be of value to
all people associated with the actuarial profession (or interested in
it) and particularly to actuaries and those studying to be actuaries
through the Faculty of Actuaries and the Institute of Actuaries (but not
limited to them). If you've heard of, or read, Frank Mitchel
Reddington's "A Ramble Through The Actuarial Countryside" then
this is certainly the list for you - if not then join the list to find
out what we're going on about. |

Actsci-L
The objective of this list is to facilitate the communication of ideas,
problems and solutions, and other information among academic actuaries,
students, and other interested parties. The aim is to, bring students
and professors closer together. A major reason for the creation of this
list is to allow students to communicate with students and professors
from other schools. This is intended to globalize the actuarial science
classroom. Students and professors are encouraged to post problems
and/or solutions on the list. This could be very useful in May and
