Course entry requirements:

As per admission requirements in Commerce Handbook rule FM2.

Course outline:

A candidate for the degree shall register for at least one academic year. A candidate shall undertake an approved research project, under the guidance of a Supervisor nominated by the course convener. Every candidate shall select a subject for intensive study and research in Taxation. On applying for admission he/she shall submit his/her choice of subject for approval and must satisfy the course convener as to the suitability of his/her subject and the programme of research which he/she proposes to follow and the conditions under which it will be carried out. Every candidate must satisfy his/her supervisor(s) that his/her work is of an acceptable standard. The general rules applicable to a master’s by dissertation only (as appearing in the Faculty Handbook) apply to this course.

DP requirements:

Satisfactory progress to the supervisor’s satisfaction.
