This is an introductory course financial economics. The course aims to provide the foundations of statistics which are in financial economics. The course covers the following topics: refresher of basic statistics, data description measurement, survey and probability concepts, linear regression, financial programming. The module equips the students with the statistical tools and methods essential for measurement and evaluation in financial economics.

Lecture Times: Lectures are twice a week in the evenings or on Tuesdays and Saturdays only.
Assessment: Examination 60% Tests/projects 40%
