Co-requisites:
Business Strategy BUS4050W.
Objective:
To undertake advanced study in various areas in the field of finance and to
undertake a research project.
Course outline:
The three primary modules in the course are: risk and return, international
finance and corporate finance. In addition, students will undertake a research
project.
Assessment:
Examination Requirements: The course mark will be an average of the marks
obtained in the modules and research project. In order to achieve a pass on the
course, a student is required to obtain an average mark of 50% and a minimum
mark of 50% for the research project. A sub-minimum mark of 40% is required for
each of the modules.
