|
Morné Oosthuizen is the Deputy Director of the Development Policy Research Unit.
In 2006 he has
also been Involved in presenting recent DPRU research on the
topics of Education and Inflation as part of the Masters
Course in Labour Economics.
He joined the Development Policy
Research Unit in 2002 as a Researcher and was promoted to Senior
Researcher in 2003. His
research initially covered the fields of household poverty and
labour demand trends in the South African economy. Recently, the main areas of his research have been the Post-Apartheid Labour Market, education and the inflation experience of poor households. Other areas in which he has undertaken research include migration and child labour. Morné is also involved in the training activities of the Unit, including the extension and technical assistance courses. |
