How to proceed?

If you have already signed a training contract, find out how your firm views
Academic trainees. Please note that a number of firms
limit the number of trainees who may do their first year
in academia so please speak to them and indicate that
you may be interested as the firms often work on a first
come first serve basis.
3. Refer to the Specimen
Contract and SAICA Requirements.
4. Complete the internal application form
by Friday 31 July 2009.
5. Return/Email completed application forms to
Asia Brey. Room 4.01 Leslie Commerce
Building.
6. The Department will arrange interviews for
short-listed candidates between 10 - 14 August 2009.
7. The Department will then make offers to selected
applicants.
8. These applicants will be required to sign two copies
of the Department of Accounting contract letter and complete the
formal
SAICA
Application for Academic Trainees contract.
9. In addition you will be required to complete an
official UCT employment contract which will be sent to
you by Central Administration.
