2006
Haroon Bhorat was interviewed on SABC Africa on the 180degrees show regarding the Poverty and Policy book launch which took place on 11 December 2006.

2005
Haroon Bhorat formed part of the debate hosted by John Perlman on SABC3 on  10 march 2005. The debate was part of "The Round Table" series.

2003
Our director, Haroon Bhorat, took part in a Nepad Panel discussion on SABC2 in 2003. The discussion centred around poverty alleviation.

CNN interviewed David Kaplan, the former director of the DPRU, in a short documentary that covered South Africa's brain drain. 

The current director of the DPRU, Haroon Bhorat was interviewed for a programme featured on a journalistic programme, Carte Blanche, that also investigated the brain drain that South Africa is experiencing.

Reporting: University of Cape Town Economist, Haroon Bhorat says, South Africa lacks
black young professional economists. He was speaking at the launch of the book, Poverty and Policy in Post Apartheid South Africa published by the Human Science Research Council.

Radio SA FM conducted an interview with our Director that covered topics related to labour markets and poverty in South Africa.
