Memory Box: Body Maps

Body Maps are large life-sized paintings containing representations of the virus, symbols of personal power and illustrations of the important marks left by life. These beautiful works have been exhibited at several galleries. Through the support of Absolute Return for Kids, the original body maps are now being used to promote AIDS awareness and to highlight the important work of the A-team. Limited edition prints are available for sale to support AIDS outreach activities in ASRU. Visit the Body Maps site. For more information please contact Kathleen.Forbes@uct.ac.za.
