S'akha Sonke

S'akha Sonke (previously Mad Hatters) is a Mental Health support group on Upper campus and was started by Dr Katherine Eyal in the Economics Department.

IKhaya Day House

The iKhaya Day House is a newly refurbished common room, equipped with comfortable furnishings and a plasma screen television with DStv. Located in Otto Beit, the day house offers non-resident students more than just a place to relax between lectures and catch up on the cricket or daily soapies. It’s a place where non-resident students can be exposed to the full experience of the university life enjoyed by their counterparts in res.
