Welcome To Commercial Law

The Department of Commercial Law is the largest department in the Faculty of Law. Its members are engaged in research particularly in the areas of company law, revenue law, labour law, negotiable instruments and shipping law, and are also extensively involved in the postgraduate programme, with more than 90% of the Faculty's postgraduate students registered for courses presented by the Department. Apart from a significant teaching contribution in the LLB programme, the Department offers service courses to more than 2,900 students of other Faculties.
