- Introduction to Marketing Research
IntroductionIntroduction to Marketing Research is intended to
provide you with a comprehensive understanding of Marketing Research: its
role within marketing management, the marketing research process and its
context within the South African market.
This course has both strong theoretical and practical aspects. The lectures
are designed in such a way as to illustrate Marketing Research theory
through the use of practical examples. Students are required to purchase the
prescribed textbook to supplement the theoretical information given in
lectures.
In addition, guest lecturers involved in the industry will form an
important part of the lecture material, as they will produce practical
examples and demonstrate the use of marketing research within the business
world.
Assignments and tests will, therefore, mainly test the application
of the theory taught.
