AIS Sponsors Worldwide Video Creation Competition
We are happy to announce that AIS is sponsoring a video competition for
students with cash prizes. The 2-5 minute videos should promote the study of
information systems, stating why IT/IS is cool and why college students
should consider majoring in the field.
First prize is $1,000; second prize is $500; third prize is $250 and
there are four honorable mentions of $50 each. We will be able to use clips
(with end credits) from the submissions in an AIS-sponsored YouTube video or
other promotional materials.
Please see our complete call with rules, instructions, and entry form at
http://galletta.business.pitt.edu/IMIT/
Students are encouraged to cite employment and other statistics that help
make a good case. We have some materials posted at our enrollments wiki (http://enrollments.aisnet.org)
that can serve as background information.
Sincerely,
AIS Committee, in alphabetical order:
Dennis Galletta, AIS President, University of Pittsburgh
Beena George, University of St. Thomas
Rudy Hirschheim, Louisiana State University
Blake Ives, University of Houston
