The Information Systems Department invites postgraduate students and
members of staff to attend a lecture:
GUEST SPEAKER: Dr Joachim Schaper
Vice President SAP Research Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA)
“Ubiquitous Computing in Business Processes”
DATE: 01 April 2008

TIME: 16H00 – 17H30
which will briefly deal with:
- how state-of-the-art ubiquitous computing technologies can be
utilised in real business process
- how to identify technologies’ economic potential for business
processes
- how to deal with underlying technologies, their benefits and
problems
- a demonstration on how integration works between the real world and
the virtual world as it is represented in enterprise software systems
today.
