Hello Translate.org.za friends,
On Saturday 2 February, Translate.org.za was honoured with an award for
'Multilingualism and Nation Building: eBusiness Institution of the Decade'.
The award was given by the Pan South African Language Board in recognition
of our work to ensure that every South African can use a computer in their
mother tongue. This includes the invention of a multilingual South African
keyboard, spell checkers and translation of OpenOffice.org (the first office
suite in an official South African language and still the only one available
in all 11 official languages).
