Community Work done by the Department of Information Systems

HOCIP    Honours Outreach and Community Involvement Programme

All registered full-time IS Honours students are required to engage in a community project of their choice in order to gain some practical  real-world experience and let the community benefit from their IS skills.

ER Projects    Empirical Research Projects

As part of the honours curriculum, groups of students are required to participate in a number of extensive empirical research projects. Projects based on community work are listed below.

SD Projects    System Development Projects

Systems development projects, based on real world problems and applications, are undertaken as group work for 3rd year and 4th year students. Projects based on community work are listed below.
