Introduction to Business
Computing (INF4000F)
is a half course offered to Post-Graduate Diploma students in the Commerce
faculty during the first semester. The course has two primary objectives:

To provide an
introduction to information systems concepts: data, hardware,
software, communications, databases, as well as
the role played by information systems within a business environment,
including the role of the internet and ecommerce.

To provide students with hands-on
skills in the use of personal computers and common management tools:
spreadsheets, presentation software, project planning and basic web page design (MS FrontPage).
