To give students a thorough grounding in Capital Markets and
This course forms part of the first year of the Master of
Commerce Finance (Financial Management; Financial and Risk Management; and
Investment Management) programmes. The course is parttime but intensive.
Lectures are usually on Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings. The focus of the
course is on applied finance and capital markets. Topics include Capital
Markets, Futures, Options, Fixed income securities, Duration, Forwards, Hedge
Funds, Interest Rate Swaps, and International Finance.
