Ingrid Woolard
Ingrid Woolard is an Associate Professor in the School of Economics and an
associate of the Southern Africa Labour and Development Research Unit. She holds
a PhD in economics from UCT. Ingrid is currently the co-PI (with Murray
Leibbrandt) of the National Income Dynamics Study, South Africa’s first
nationally representative household panel survey. She holds a Y1 rating from the
National Research Foundation. Ingrid currently serves as a member of the
Employment Conditions Commission which advises the Minister of Labour.
