Career Awareness Talks

The Career Development Programme (CDP) would like to invite all students to attend the Career Awareness Talks series, from 23 - 26 March 2009. This talks series aims to increase students' awareness of a range of different career options. It is an opportunity to hear professionals talk about their own individual career journeys and areas of work.

The Career Awareness Talks series was devised to cover areas of work which typically do not feature in campus based graduate recruitment activities because these sectors tend to recruit in smaller numbers via other means.

All talks will take place from 13h00 - 13h45 in LS 2B, Leslie Social Science. Here is a list of talks, and you will find more information about the speakers on www.careers.uct.ac.za

23 March: Work experience with the United Nations
24 March: Working in the film industry
25 March: Starting a business from scratch
26 March: Working in Government
