Section of Organisational Psychology
Within the Section of Organisational Psychology we offer doctoral degrees by
dissertation only in the areas of Organisational Psychology and Programme
Evaluation.
If you are interested in pursuing a doctoral degree, please contact the Head
of Section, Prof Joha Louw-Potgieter (Joha.Louw-Potgieter@uct.ac.za),
state which degrees you currently hold, and which area you want to pursue a PhD
in. Also send her a short (two page) document outlining your proposed study.
Prof Louw-Potgieter will then inform you if you are eligible for PhD studies,
and if so, invite you for an interview and suggest possible supervisors. Even if
you already have a supervisor in mind, you still have to contact the Head of
Section.
