Employee Benefit Research Institute
EBRI focuses on advancing the public's, the media's and policymakers'
knowledge and understanding of employee benefits and their importance to
the nation's economy.
One can also access the 1996 Retirement Confidence Survey. It is based
on data gathered in the US and describes matters like saving patterns
and sources of retirement income. |

of Insurance and Pension Research (Univ of Waterloo)
The Institute of Insurance and Pension Research exists to address an
outstanding need for more research in the general area of insurance and
pensions as it applies to Canada and its unique political, social, and
economic environment.
Topics under dicussion are(amongst others)
-the ownership of pension surpluses by employers
-the impact of human rights issues on risk classification
-tax reform

The Pension Research Council of the Wharton School of the University of
Pennsylvania is an organization committed to generating debate on key
policy issues affecting pensions and other employee benefits.
Unfortunately publications and working papers are not available on-line
but have to be purchased.
The Newsletters do contain some interesting book reviews on topics like
defined contribution plans and the impending insolvency of th US
government-provided retirement benefit programs. |
